Position Summary South Bronx Classical Charter School is currently seeking a part time Math Curriculum Writer who will create lesson plans for our standards-based, backwards-designed, rigorous middle school math curriculum. Eligible candidates must be able to design lesson plans that are aligned to South Bronx Classical rigorous unit plans as well as the Common Core Math Standards. Additionally, planners must create class activities that meet the daily objectives and engage scholars in high-level critical thinking. Qualified candidates must have experience teaching math at the middle school or high school level and a strong record of raising scholar achievement. Additionally, they must have experience developing rigorous math lesson plans and be familiar with Common Core Standards. Qualifications - Graduation from a top college with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
